The philosophy
The cable is the part of the system nobody sees and everybody depends on
An AV system is only as reliable as its weakest connection. A premium matrix switcher feeding a high end display through underspecified cable produces faults the client blames on the visible equipment, not the hidden run in the wall. A lighting system wired with the wrong cable may commission cleanly and then develop intermittent communication faults months later. An HDBaseT extender rated to 100 metres will not reach 100 metres over cable that cannot hold its rated performance across the full run.
ByteWire exists because Cache Robotics spent years supplying control systems, loudspeakers and AV distribution equipment into UAE and GCC projects, and kept seeing good equipment let down by whatever cable happened to be cheapest that week.
